I just purchased Newspaper and everything was good when I installed the theme but now Revolution slider is asking me to update but I first have to get premium support. What gives? I thought the theme came with revolution slider. Is this something I will have to work around?

Revolution slider cannot be updated or activate directly from the plugin author. We only recommend using the version of the plugin we provided in the theme package. We will provide the updates along with the theme updates. You must ignore all the messages about updates and activation of the plugin as the free version does not have an activation code nor can it be updated from the plugin author.

I also have just purchased The Newspaper 7 theme and cannot get Slider Revolution to work. Spent an entire day on it and tried everything. I have manually uploaded it through the FTP solution HOWEVER, that does NOT work for uploading a slider from the slider demo files. ERROR on everyone of them. It’s ridiculous how difficult this is for a premium theme. I am very disappointed. Looking forward to a solution soon before I have to move on.
OK, and what is the error you are receiving? Please provide a screenshot of the error so we can figure out what it is. You have to provide more details if you require help as we cannot guess what the error is.

I would if there was an option here to upload a screen shot. I will email them all.
I have emailed the screen shots. Another day goes by without support and I still can’t upload slide demos or templates. I have checked out on every possibility with my host server and read everything I could find on this issue. I don’t mind buying the Slider license however, how do I know it will work with this theme? I can tell you…not having a purchase code seems to be a major problem.
