Hi,
Revolution Slider comes as part of the Newspaper Theme package, but is it necessary to make the theme function correctly?
I have not used Rev Slider on any posts/pages and was considering removing it, provided it’s not part of the core of the theme.

Hello !
The revolution slider comes in a bundle. You are not forced to use it. This is an optional widget. You can simply remove it without worries.
