SO I got a review of my site http://martial-arts-review.co.uk from an SEO company and one of they things they came back wiht is my sitemap is missing from my robot.txt file.
Upon viewing my files in gatorhost, I cant even find the robot.txt file anywhere to add my sitemap?
Am I missing something?
‘robots.txt’ file is used to identify location of your sitemap, if not already using a sitemap plugin (e.g., Yoast SEO, etc.) with WP, where that will create the virtual robots.txt file for, in many cases.

Well I am using Yaost so I aint gotta wory about the robot.txt even though I cant find it anywhere?

Should you link to your XML Sitemap from your robots.txt?
We’ve always felt it pointless to link to your XML sitemap from your robots.txt file, because you should add your sitemap manually to your Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools accounts and look at their feedback about it. This is why our Yoast SEO plugin doesn’t add it to your robots.txt. Don’t rely on search engines finding out about your XML sitemap through your robots.txt .
