Untill 9.7 the roboto font was not getting imported from font.googleapis.com but after I updated to 9.8 I see a new HTTP connection to font.googleapis.com is being made to import roboto font.
Why it is importing. I believe it should be a part of the theme. This issue is hurting my website speed and SEO
Please tell me how to fix it.
The problem occurred when I imported a homepage from Cloud plugin. Earlier the problem was not there.

Please make sure that you updated the theme as in our guide from here , and you do not have any plugins that require that font to be imported.

I updated the them using FTP. As I said the problem is not with the update. But when I imported a cloud library page …after that the problem started. Please run ” riansclub.com ” in GT Matrix or kingdom tools you will see that it is calling font.googleapis.com

Indeed the https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto appear in GT Matrix but I can not find it on your website source, usually this style is use by the Revolution Slider -> http://prntscr.com/p6mu8w

I already did it. But still is is calling the google font. Please share a working solution. I tried all the tricks mentioned in this forum but nothing worked.
