Same slug page and category

Hi Guys,
great theme, congratulations from Italy!
We have a questions: we create 1 page and 1 category with the same slug.

Example:
(page) http://www.example.com/provapage/prova
(article) http://www.example.com/provacategory/prova

So, when we visit http://www.example.com/provacategory/prova wordpress redirect (301) the url to http://www.example.com/provapage/prova.

Is a WordPress or Newspaper setting?
Is a bug?
