whenever i save settings in the theme panel, it doesn’t seem to have an effect when i reload my website on another page.

Hi,
So you successfully save the settings or changes in the theme panel

Then as you view the website these are not displayed. It could be caching, if you use a caching plugin try to clear the cache. Also clear the browser cache or force refresh the page (should be Ctrl+Shift+R). Then check if the same happens.
I could take a look at the website if needed, mention what settings you are using and I will inspect it.
