We enable theme schema on and the link in the structured schema is this https://www.kemifilani.ng/2021/01/template-id-276008, which did not resolve or land on any post.

How do we resolve this ???

Hello!

Please note that Disqus plugin and Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP have not been tested with Newspaper Theme. Disqus is known to be a bit of a trouble maker in Newspaper Theme. We recommend and use SEO Yoast plugin.

Thank you for your understanding!

is this link correct https://www.kemifilani.ng/2021/01/template-id-276008, its the theme schema and why is it not landing on the page ?

Hi,

I have made some research in this matter. The recommended properties for the article schema would be these https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/article#non-amp
In discussions I found regarding the use of @id and if it should be relevant to be an actual working link from the website, I found that this is not required, here are some links:
https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/99869/what-is-schema-id-and-does-inaccessible-urls-within-it-matter
https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/98569/what-is-the-use-of-id-in-json-ld-syntax/#98578
So basically the @id attribute is not required, and if it is provided it doesn’t have to be a valid URL, it being used for identification purposes. Google will not mention an error or issues based on an invalid URL for the @id attribute. Also it will not affect the way Google indexes the website, or the time before it does.
If you also use Yoast as I see you do, that will load schema data as well. So if you feel that this is a problem for the website (it is not actually), you could disable the theme article schema in the theme panel https://prnt.sc/y9fyj1

Thank you!
