Search Box CSS Issue

Hi Guys, the search icon on my menu bar doesn’t seem to line up vertically in the middle, and when it’s open the search button also sits slightly higher than the search field, any ideas why? this is a fresh install of WordPress and I’ve not added any additional CSS to the theme at all.
