Hello have a quick question. I would like to have a search box added to google search results whenever someone types into google “CrowdInk”. I found this website that provides the code for it but i’m not too sure how to add it into the websites theme?

< script type=”application/ld+json”>
{
“@context”: “http://schema.org”,
“@type”: “WebSite”,
“url”: “https://www.example.com/”,
“potentialAction”: {
“@type”: “SearchAction”,
“target”: “https://query.example.com/search?q={search_term_string}”,
“query-input”: “required name=search_term_string”
}
}
< /script>

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hi,
If you use Yoast SEO it should already be added!
If you do use Yoast look at the source code at the top of your homepage and near the end of the block of code for Yoast you should see the entry.

Hope this helps

Kevin

Hi kevin,

Yes just had a look and saw it there. Do you know why it won’t come up whenever someone searches “Crowd Ink” in google? Or how I can make it appear?

Cheers.

Hi,
It may just be down to google!
They are a fickle bunch!
It might be good to try on Google’s forums (https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/webmasters)
Someone there may be able to shed some light on it.
Sorry I couldn’t be of more help, maybe when the tagDiv team come back Monday one of them may point you in the right direction.
Regards
Kevin
P.s Love the website!
