Hello Tagdiv
The search button in the main menu does not work correctly: on mobile it doen’s work at all, on desktop it works on a few pages like “jobs”, but just a few: What’s wrong? How could I fix this problem?
Hi Sportguide,
If you do not provide me your website I cannot investigate it this issue, sorry! First of all, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins which can interact with the theme’s core files and break the search functionalities, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks.
Hello Catalin
Our website is http://www.sportguide.ch.
I found a working search plugin and want to make your search icon to disappear.
Therefore I pute the code in you mentioned in another discussion:
.header-search-wrap.td-icon-search{
display:none;
}
But your icon is still there. What is wrong? Code okay?
If you need an access to the backend I have to install first a clone and sned you your access information but that needs to be protected and not public.
Hi,
I have inspected your website source and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins and also, you have a lot of js errors, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/c25yOmNx Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Catalin
Everything is done now, newest themefiles, etc. and on our testsite staging.sportguide.ch all plugins were deactivated, chache cleared, etc. but no change, the search icon remained there.
Hi,
If you want to hidden the search you can use the option from theme panel> header -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HuuK1thck
If you want, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
