Hi I have updated Newsmag to Version: 1.7.1. But as soon as I updated the theme, the search button in the main menu changed to a search bar appearing under the menu. Kindly help me retrieve the earlier appearance of the main menu. My website is http://www.candescenta.com
And it is happening with my child theme….. if I activate the new parent theme then it appears fine. Please help, it’s urgent.
I have now landed in deeper trouble. Somehow my functions.php in wp-includes folder got changed and it is giving error while accessing the website or the admin area.

About the other issue I’m not sure what did you changed in the functions file, but I guess that you solved that issue if the search appear properly in your menu.
Also please note that we have changed the child theme system (for which we will have a documentation available soon) and because of that at the moment some files can’t be overwritten via child theme. Until then please make you change in the main theme file.
