Search Engines Showing Cloud Template

So I noticed yesterday that my cloud templates are showing up in Google. Then today I got an error message via Google Search Console saying:

“Duplicate without user-selected canonical” pointing to https://vrnation.tv/tdb_templates/animated-shorts/

I have Yoast installed, so I went to the advanced settings and pointed the canonical address of the template to the main page, but I’m wondering about some of the other advanced settings.

Are these settings correct for the cloud template? I’m not sure if this will effect the search results of the actual page. In this example, the template permalink is https://vrnation.tv/tdb_templates/animated-shorts/

Allow search engines to show this Cloud Template in search results? NO

Should search engines follow links on this Cloud Template? NO

Meta robots advanced [Sitewide Default: None]

Canonical URL: https://vrnation.tv/animated-shorts/

Thanks in advance for your help.

Actually, it’s even worse. When I link to the page above, it redirects to the template.

Help!

Actually, ignore my second post. The canonical link should have been:

https://vrnation.tv/category/animated-shorts/

My mistake.

I’m still wondering if those settings are correct.

Hi,

In order to remove the cloud template from search results you can disable this option from SEO Yoast -> https://www.screencast.com/t/RHkM6A9s
After the make sure that you have the last version of the theme, Newspaper v9.8 clear all cache and purge cdn.
After that ask the Google to recrawl your URLs -> https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en

Thank you!
