Search icon in next line under menu

Hi
I updated my test site to the new V8.5 and now my search icon is showing on the next line under my Menu. I can’t seem to find where I can change this so that it displays at the end of my menu on the same line. It used to be on the same line before the update

Hi Ciska,
I am having the same exact problem after updating to 8.5.1 from 8.2. This is definitely something that needs to be fixed

I have used the following custom CSS code to hide the search icon until it’s fixed. Maybe it will be useful for you too in the intermediate:

.td-icon-search{
display:none!important;
}

I would welcome a response from the TadDiv team about this. I love the Newspaper theme and generally know how to fix most things, but this would be a lot of time I don’t have to try and recode things to get it the way it was.

This issue is caused by caching, so please clear all caching installed. If you use CDN purge all files.

Hi,
It seems to be a problem on my Chrome? When I open Firefox it does not have this problem.
I have cleared the cache but my Chrome is still not working. Any ideas on how to fix this in Chrome?

Hi, I fixed my Chrome by deleting the cached images under the history settings.
Now all is working fine

Hi Simion and Travelhippi,
Yep, I had to get a bit more aggressive too with clearing caches in my browser, caching plugin, and my CDN. I also logged out and logged in again, tried different browsers and was eventually able to resolve it that way.
