hi, I recently installed a plugin called extended search with which I changed the search results on custom post type. I wanted to go back and reapply the default results but it didn’t work. I uninstalled the plugin but the results are still filtered. Can I use some virgin theme files to bring everything as before?

You will have to see what files have been damaged. You could ask your host to restore a backup if they have one.
