Hi,
We have a Newspaper licence for WordPress.
Is it possible to configure the search queries to direct to the index that’s defined in WordPress?
Our front page is at /dating-advice so we need the search queries to point to /dating-advice/?s=
Website can be found at https://www.christianconnection.com/dating-advice/
Thanks

Hi,
Maybe I do not understand, but the search is working as wordpress – https://i.imgur.com/BqjVhme.png https://i.imgur.com/i0sqMrO.png
Could you provide some more details about what you want to achieve?

Hi Calin, which country are you accessing the site from?

We are hosting the WordPress site on our main website using Cloudflare as a proxy. Search queries should be directed to a subdirectory (/dating-advice), rather than the root URL (/). Is this possible?

Thank you.

Hi,
I’m accessing the site from Romania
I understand what you mean, but right now the site doesn’t behave as if there’s a main directory and a subdirectory. When I access the link you provided, it looks like any other page on the site, and the search runs across the entire site (I hope I’m explaining this clearly).
I believe what you’re trying to achieve can be done with WordPress Multisite. With multisite: the main site would be christianconnection.com and christianconnection.com/dating-advice/ would be a separate site within the multisite network. The search would then work specifically within christianconnection.com/dating-advice/?= when you’re on that site.
This setup would isolate the search to that sub-site rather than the entire main site.
