Is there any way to insert a “filter/sorting” on the search result pages, so the user get different options to sort the search results themself?
Fx “newest”, “oldest”, “most relevant” etc.

Yes, please edit the search page with the TagDiv Composer, click on the search results and there should be a posts loop which have a sort order in the settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/MkQqu9MgH

Thank you, but I think you misunderstood me.
I don’t mean setting af backend loop, but let the user themself choose a loop.
