Search Stop Working

I am running the theme on several site. On one site the search function has stopped working. all of the sites are configured the same.

I am not sure where to look.

I get the search results under the search box but not when I click search. I get 404 error.

Fond the problem – the site was moved down a level in the directory structure when the new admin took over.

domain.com/en/news/?s=query This gives the 404

domain.com/?s=query This works

I need to have a chat with the new admin, looks like this was done when adding polylang.

Hi Mark,

You should also check for plugins as this is a very common issue when there is an incompatible plugin with the theme. The theme js is the first to break. The correct steps for debugging such an issue is to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
