We really want to change our site’s default to use Post Template 7 (http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-lenovo-details-new-computers-that-could-be-heading-our-way-in-2015/), but have been waiting for Photo Captions to be added to the form.
We source some photos from Creative Commons and some from publicists. We cannot use many of these photos without attribution. However, even version 7 still hides the Photo Caption field from Word Press.
It could be placed over the image in white text, or below it in the white space. We just need the attribution to be present and be logical.
Is there anyone with experience customizing Newspaper who may be available for this small job? I’ve submitted the request that this be added to the template (many, many other publishers in the US will have this same legal issue, even if they do not understand it), but have been told it was not a priority.
