When we write a post we select 2 categories. The reason is for google news app. We have one main category called Topical of which the url we submitted to google news to pull all the news from. However, we also have to choose another post related category to make it visible on the selected category page.
The issue we are having is really strange.
We have banners as widgets for each specific categories to display. The category called Technical Textiles has banners as widget to display all languages (TR-ENG),
In this image https://pasteboard.co/I4k7iXX.png you can see the technical textiles category is diplayed before topical category resulting the banners displayed (Correct)
However in the Turkish version of the post you can see in this image, https://pasteboard.co/I4k7Zx2.png Guncel(means topical) is displayed before Teknik Tekstiller (means technical textiles) resulting no banner display because we don’t have any banners displayed in Topical category.
So, the related banners only display according to the alphabetical category order which are shown on top of the posts. To solve that issue, I have to select, custom side bar from the post settings in the admin panel.
Do you have any other solution to this other than selecting custom side bar from the post settings?

In this case, the theme will the sidebar from your primary category. I see that you are using two languages of your website (ENG and TR). Please notice that the category tags are different according to your translation and that’s why you bring these results. For example, Topical means Guncel which is displayed by default in alphabetical order. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/iQUSrZABd If you want to display the same sidebar, for each version of your translated pages, when you edit the post, you have to set up your primary category from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ifMjJ4DT Also, if you will not set up your Primary category, the theme will take the sidebar from the first category which is sorted in alphabetical order, which once is Technical Textiles and once is Guncel (Topical).

So, the only option to display right side bar next to post is to set primary category from the post settings.
I disabled CATEGORY TAGS DISPLAY ORDER, and I chose primary category and the issue is fixed.
The other problem is, I can disable category tags on single posts but I can’t on category pages evethough I disable Category pull-down filter
