Hello,
Please notice that our forum is made using the bbpress plugin but it was custom made. This plugin is recommended with our theme and you can try using it.

Could you guide me to the correct way to install bbpress on the black theme?

Hi niklasm,
If you are using the Newspaper, you need to simply install the Black Version of the theme and then, install the bbpress according to the documentation from here -> https://codex.bbpress.org/
