For some reason I can only get 4 products to show on my shop page. This seems very odd and I haven’t figured it out yet. I’m a bit confused.

My goal would be to have it set up like this (shown on newspaper 8.5 features but takes you to another theme):

Can anybody help me with this.. To show more products or to tell me how to set it up like the 2nd link.

Please check the similar Woocommerce topic I provided in your other topic. The number of products can be modified either with that code, or directly in the theme files

You can create a child theme for example and enter the code there, so it will not be lost after a theme update

Other than that guide, there is no documentation available. If you follow the guide there will be no problem creating and using a child theme. Simply copy the provided child theme in the WordPress themes folder on your server

The files that can be modified are mentioned in the guide. Note that a similar directory structure or path leading to the file as in the main theme, has to be created in the child theme.

So it should work for you as well. Try the other method with a child theme as well.
