Setting image focal point for grids

Hi,

I’m trying to fix the issue where the photo grids in Newspaper seem to be cropping from the center of my photos, often leading to crotch shots. I have installed plugins such as My Eyes Are Up Here and Post Thumbnail Editor to try to fix this problem with my featured images. The thumbnail crops look great in my media library, but they aren’t showing on my actual site in my grid/image blocks. Can anyone help? Thanks!

The images are cropped from center to top and you can find the code here if you want to modify it – http://screencast.com/t/vdTfJXHLb
I’m not aware about a plugin that you could use to change this so I cannot make any recommendation.
