On your demo site, there is an 11% left and right margin set to the text on full-width templates (when the sidebar is not set to display) (example: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/popular-people-who-everyone-seems-to-love/), but this margin is not applied when there is a sidebar on the page.
What css do I need to add so this would only apply when there is no sidebar on the page.

Hi,
You don’t need custom css to do that.
