The search box in either search box returns nonsense results for a search term, for instance, try the search term “vitamins” and it returns totally irrelevant pages. Is there any way to flush and rebuild the search database or adjust search parameters?

If there isn’t, can you advise on a suitable plugin for search that will integrate with Newspaper? Our site visitors make frequent use of the search field.

Our theme uses the WordPress search function. and we made few changes only for the live search. By default, those will display all posts and pages that contain the word/words you are looking for in the title or post content.
Also, there isn’t an option to edit the search results.
This can be done with custom work or using an extra plugin, but we can’t recommend one.
