Share buttons

The default Share option allows to add only facebook, twitter, etc.. buttons. How to add other social media icons like LinkdIn? My hope is to get rid of another plugin that I am forced to use specifically for such purpose. Thanks.

Hello Mayapur Voice,

Unfortunately, the theme does not have such a feature. You can add more social sharing options in the top menu and footer social icons from here: http://screencast.com/t/p8wECTEU1lS8 but for the top and bottom article sharing only these options are available: http://screencast.com/t/wyF9MOyqdpzQ
You can add more social icons there if you want but it will require a bit of coding knowledge as it has to be hard-coded. You can follow this method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/linkedin-button/
If you want to display more levels in our theme and you need to introduce more additional features and if you are not aware to the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to implement this for you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Thanks for the link. Perhaps I will try it out. Yes I am talking about top and bottom of post sharing buttons.
I wonder though if it’s just a question of adding a few lines of code why don’t you include a few more popular share options in your social counter plugin upgrade? Just a thought… thanks.

Hello Mayapur Voice,

I have added this suggestion to our list of improvements and we will consider this in next update. In a future update, it is possible but we cannot say for sure if it will get done in the next update because we have a big list of fixes, improvements and suggestions to implement. It’s hard to filter them and select which one gets implemented now and which one gets postponed. The developers decide if it gets done or not, though. Until we can do it, you can use a plugin.

Thank you for the message!
