Share on facebook: Image is not shared on facebook. I have already tried to check the tag og that look right, I updated visual composer; use wordpress by Yoast with open graph activated.
How can I fix? The problem arose from a week before everything worked properly.
It happens randomly and is an issue with FB, outside anybody’s control.
Only way to fix, is to
a) share it,
b) click the timestamp on the share on FB timeline, then
c) click right top drop down arrow and do “refresh share attachment”
d) it should then grab the photo properly
ADMIN – you may want to add this to FAQs as this Q seems to come up weekly going on 24 months now.

I’ve checked different posts from your site with facebook debugger and the og:image is missing: http://screencast.com/t/c50zyHQc that’s why no image appear when the post is shared. Try to save the permalinks under Settings > Permalinks: http://screencast.com/t/xuD8c92GZPHU clear all caches, deactivate the plugins except Visual Composer and test again.

I solved that with the plugin YOAST SEO 🙂
Yes, there must be OG (open graph) tags in the META data in the head of the HTML. You can check this manually by doing “view source” in any modern web browser to SEE what is actually on the live page. FB must have an OG image tag to work properly.

YOAST SEO does the OG tags automatically if you switch the option on from the Yoast SEO settings … go through every tab and every panel in the Yoast SEO and make sure you look at the “social” settings.

Problem solved thanks to your support! I set hotlink protection on images to block the use of the images on other sites. This blocking is not making it visible image on facebook!
