As the title explains, I am having issues with the “share on Facebook” functionality. If a post is shared, the Facebook posts includes the following information:
1) the category/categories of the blog-post
2) the title of the blog post (ok)
3) date (ok)
4) “Share on Facebook” as text in the Facebook post
5) “Tweet on Twitter” as text in the Facebook post
I cannot find anything in the documentation regarding this. Please advise.

Hello Breus2,
Our theme does not control these options, but we can recommend a plugin that does. Seo by Yoast is a plugin that is tested with the theme and it will be able to help you edit these option.
