Sharing on facebook

Hi,

When I go to share a post on my site using the share button the text below the article title is very strange, can you tell me what this is?

Is there anything we can do with this text?

For that you will need to use SEO Yoast plugin. This feature will be available once the plugin is active.

Hi,

Is this the only way to change the text?
Should it not automatically be the posts excerpt?
Can I do it without downloading a plugin?

Unfortunately that text can’t be edited. That is how Facebook renders it.

I see, what is SEO Yoast plugin?

If someone shares on facebook the article feature picture doesnt show. Is this also not possible to change?

Hello!

You need a get_image feature which Newspaper Theme does not have implemented. This comes once the SEO Yoast plugin is active. SEO Yoast is a SEO plugin with multiple features.
