Shortcode for calendar plugin does not work on a page

I am using Modern Events Calendar lite on our website.
The calendar shortcode works when added as a widget to the sidebar..
Look at events below text title..CALENDAR CONNECTION
https://redcarpetsf.com/newsletter/

But on this page, the shortcode still shows up when I added the element raw HTML
below the title ..Calendar Connection
https://redcarpetsf.com/home-vers-two/

Does Newspaper theme have issues with shortcodes. It used to work a few months back
but now…We need your help to solve this bug.

Hi,

Please notice that we did not tested the Modern Events Calendar plugin with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, also, we do not know the behavior of this plugin or how it should integrate to work, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

Also we recommend to set the sortcodes in column text in text area ->https://imgur.com/CSPcls9
