"Show Author under Post Title" feature doesn't work [V4.4]

Hi,

I updated my site to Newspaper 4.4 and I noticed that the Show Author Under Post doesn’t work on any Post Template. I edited the loop-single-2.phpto add the author name by using get_author() but it didn’t work.

Please help.

Hi,

I have tested this using the latest theme version and found no issue with it: http://screencast.com/t/xjQDcMtttlu
Please make sure you edit single_template_2.php file or loop-single-2.php depending on your needs.
Make sure you add the get_author() functions like this: http://screencast.com/t/Js2KCix5g2

Hi,

Please make sure you have enabled it from theme panel > post settings: http://screencast.com/t/T3RxPm7k2tc
If still doesn’t show please make sure you follow the steps I provided above and that you check for changes to the post template you have modified, note that if you change the single_template_2.php file you will have to test it using post style 2.
Please let me know if you can’t managed to get this done.
