Show ‘next’ and ‘previous’ posts

Hi guys,

How does the theme decide what to show on pages where Show ‘next’ and ‘previous’ posts is enabled?

I have tried changing things like Parent and Order in Page Attributes but I can’t get the next and previous posts to match what is logical based on menu order.

Hi,

Are you referring to the next/prev post from the post page? https://prnt.sc/pGpIboyNuvE2 That displays posts based on their publish date, previous article is older and the next article is newer.

Or are you referring to something else perhaps? Please provide an example of what you are referring to.
