Show only one category on Category tag on modules/blocks

My category structures have numberous category and main block for frontpage is generated form second celected category – example: article is in Sport and (MAIN NEWS) category… How can I display only SPORT in category tag and not the (MAIN NEWS)?

You can set SPORT as primary category and it will be displayed as category tag on modules and blocks.

How do I set primary categories or do I have to do it for every post?

I have more than 45.000 posts!!! Can It be done over settings to de-select NOT primary or to define “exclude” category for not showing… Or some cote to “exclude” categoies from showing TAG, maybe in function.php file?
