i need to show, on sidebar for example, a block with title and photo but from another site.
for example a blog3widget showing title and featured photo from a specified url or category from another site.
how to? it’s possible to change code creating a new blog or use a plugin?
Often you can use one of the many RSS plugins to pull RSS from another site *WITH THEIR PERMISSION* … or, manually put a post such as “from our sister site….”
I used an RSS plugin to put posts on one of our sites, showing latest stuff from sister site in sidebar, and that worked pretty well.

Yup. That’s what we were doing too. Only thing that seemed easy to do was use an RSS plugin to grab a feed from a category on our sister (meaning, related – in our network) sites. So, I used an RSS widget plugin to pull feed from
mynetworksite.xyz/topic/feed
and then pulled in one post with headline and 20 words from summary into widget area on sidebar on
mynetworksitexyz.xyz/123/my-post-about-new-stuff/
I had to try several different RSS plugins to get exactly what I wanted. But it worked.
