I have an one category with child category, while using a block i want to show that this post is child category (name of the category) and this post is parent category (name of the category) and also i want the same thing in the menu also because this category i also have in my menu as i am using a mega menu.

The category tags on modules and blocks were not designed to show more than one category. They only grab the parent category, not the sub-category. If you want to edit the theme files and customize the category tags, you will have to edit this function: http://screencast.com/t/xYkOU06gJ6

I don’t know php so i am not able to understand how could it happen. Can you tell me step by step, and one more thing i don’t want to show all categories name, i just want a specify a single category name with their child category name in the block i used.

To achieve you’re goal is required a new implementation in the function which generate category tags on modules. Also are required many customizations and tests to make sure that it will work correctly.
