In newspaper how can I show a list of pages?
What I want to be able to do is show a similar listing that appears when you do a search for a company name say – Bank of american fork – on my website http://www.servedaily.com –
The page that comes up shows a thumbnail – the title of the page and then the first couple sentences.
What I would like to have is a page for the various Business categories
Shopping Restaurants ETC –
And on those pages have the information auto populate via the PARENT category selected on the page.
Is this possible?
I thought I found a solution with the Visual Composer using the Post Grid – but haven’t been able to figure it out.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such option. Please try to find any plugins with this functionality and test it on your side and see how it works for you. Also, if you want to display more levels on your side and if you are not aware the steps you need to follow in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to implement this thing for you in our theme because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

I am a bit confused though –
Built into the Visual Composer is the tool Post Grid –
It says you can pick from Posts or Pages –
I selected posts and was able to create this:
However, if I select Page -I thought the same thing would work.
Is there something that between the Visual Composer coding and Newspaper 6 coding that disables the pages option from working?

Post Grid is a built in Visual Composer element. I have tested on my side with Posts as data source and will display all the latest posts in your page and if you chose page as data source, this element will interpret only the text of the pages…so If you have a page with some blocks, this feature will not display this into one page…will display only text…practically it is not possible to display shortcode in shortcode…I have tested this behaviour into the default theme and returns the same results -> http://screencast.com/t/r9Lzl0Z7Hjyn Please notice that our theme does not interfere with the code the functionality of Visual Composer elements.
If is not what you referring to, please provide more details about this because your above screenshot does not work.

I just thought of a possible work around, but don’t know if its possible.
I could create posts with images and have those show up, but is there a way to auto forward a POST to a certain PAGE?

If you want to achieve this, suggest doing a new category page, as the example “Specific” and this category will display in your blocks on the page as you want by category ID filter -> http://screencast.com/t/er2bkafk1jzh and in this way the displaying will be automatically. If is not what you want, you should find a plugin with this functionality and test it on your side and see how it works.
