Based on reading through threads, am I correct that there’s no way to show a caption beneath a featured image such as the one on this page: https://polksports.com/football/weaver-surpasses-2000-career-rushing-yards/
There’s no modification that can be made to display a caption there?

Hello,
Unfortunately, for Single Post Bg Featured Image you can’t show the caption.
Please use “Single Post Featured Image”.
The differences between BG featured image and single post featured image:
– the description (caption) will not appear in BG
– the image size you can set only in BG, so in a single post featured image will take the image in original sizes
– more options for styling in a single post featured image than BG
