Sidebar appear when setting page as shop in WooCommerce

If I create a regular page using WPBakery Page Builder The sidebar is removed as expected. However when I set the page as the Shop Page in WooCommerce the sidebar reappears which is not what I want. I have tried hiding the side bar with some custom CSS for that page but it doesn’t appear to be working.

.td-main-sidebar{
display: none !important;
}

WooCommerce Version 3.4.1
Newspaper Version 8.7.2
WPBakery Page Builder Version 5.4.5
WordPress Version 4.9.6

Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks

Hello dmolloy,

If you want to customize your Woocommerce template you should check the Theme panel settings from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/BipSQBYQqtc0 Notice that from here you can setup your Woocommerce template.
