Did you assign the default sidebar to that page.
Did you drag a module to that sidebar under appearance > widgets ?

Hi
Please make sure that you have it set from the article editor panel > post setting http://screencast.com/t/J70O1rzbh and you actually have widgets in it, for that go to Appearance > Widgets, edit the sidebar and add widgets to it, like here: http://screencast.com/t/q1kq7zdne or customize it as you want.
