I am running into problems attempting to run a sidebar down my homepage because of the way the blocks are set up. Is there a way to have one block on the right run the length of the page, without tying it to the blocks on the left? When I set up a widgetised sidebar on the right side, which contains numerous widgets, it ties that block to the top block on the left. That means there is a ton of white space under the block on the left, corresponding with the length of my widget block on the right.
That sounds convoluted, I know. Does it make sense? Is there a way around the problem that I’m not seeing?

I’m not sure is this is what you mean, but you can add blocks in the same row(you don’t have to create a new row) so it wont be white space under the left block – http://screencast.com/t/kxMWYG9Iemf Please provide a link of a test page so we can take a look if this is not want you mean.
