Sidebar broken with smart list

I have found a nasty bug with newspaper 7.0.1: I cannot add new widget blocks to newly created sidebars.
The problem appeared when I was trying to publish an article with smart list.
The widgets appear underneath the article instead of the sidebar.
I have uninstalled all plugins and the problem still persists.
So basically I am not able to use one of the unique theme features.
This used to work with version 6.
A partial fix is to use h3 tags as listings, but with h2 tags it is broken.

Hi,
The smartlists are very sensitive to open html tags. Please try to edit your smartlist posts in text mode and make sure the heading tags are closed properly. Open elements ten=d to break the sidebar.

Hi,

you were right. That seems to do the trick! Please mark as closed. Strangely enough I have never had anything like that in the past.
