As of a few days ago my smart sidebar does not show up properly in Firefox and Explorer. It does however in Chrome. Now its placed below the blocks. It does so only on the homepage, not on posts.
I did not add any plugins, I did not alter the homepage settings. I asked my hostingcompany for advice whether it could be a caching problem which they said it was not. They added a Firefox developer status, which is mostly in dutch . I will add it to this conversation as it might help
my version is Newsmag V 2.3.7 , WordPress 4.6

Try to update the theme at V 3.1 which is available on themeforest and also update Visual Composer at V 4.12 which is included in theme’s path, clear all caches then test the site again.
