Sidebar problem

Hi,

I’m not sure I understand, do you want to re-arrange the sidebar content as an carousel layout? If so you will have to re-design and style the sidebar as this was not built to work like that, you will need custom work for this and we cannot offer custom work as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
What kind of issues do you have with the excerpt?

Regarding the excerpt you can change it from theme panel for each module as you like. Leave the excerpt length on words and then change it depending by module, I have tested this and found no issue with it, work fine for both cases (words/letters), just chose the excerpt type and then the length on each module.
