When i install other plugins with custom post types, i don’t have the ability to assign a custom sidebar and therefore shows the default sidebar from Newspaper theme.
Would it be possible to add your metabox for sidebar settings into other custom post types, so you can select which sidebar is displayed?

Note though that this theme hasn’t been designed to work with CPT so I can’t guarantee you this will also work for you.

Works like a charm. It was for Easy Digital Download (EDD) plugin. They use post type ‘download’. Added this and works as it should.
I am enhancing your theme with the ability to buy/download the high res images that are used for an article. Also setting up categories/tags for both in the same way, so i can display related images for download.
Compliments for your Newspaper theme. Thanks for creating this…and extending it more and more!
