That space is came from the row you have set -> https://i.imgur.com/N3EvySB.png you can remove it using tagDiv Composer -> a\select the row and in css tab set margin bottom 0 -> https://i.imgur.com/MTS3x1y.png
As for the second image, you need to set a bigger one.

Here is an empty space where you can set some extra images or elements you want, right now the image you have set there is to small for that large space.
