Site Alignment on Screen and View on Mobile Devices (Smart phones)

Hi, I have two issues. First I can’t seem able to adjust my site to display well on a full screen (desktop), images on my site are overflowing into the end of the screen. Please where and how do I adjust the margins so my site will sit well and fit on a big screen?
Secondly, I don’t know why my site so far is not appearing on my mobile device (smart phone) when I type the URL of my site in my phone?
