Hi
I understand that if I load translations using Theme panel > Load available translation, that will change the entire site into that other language for all users. To have the site in two languages (english and spanish) and making it possible for the user to select (using a language swicther like a flag) is it necessary to use WPML?

Hi,
Yes, you can use the WPML plugin, but if you just need the content to be translated you can use other plugins more simple like GTranslate.
