site broke after recent update

I just updated newsmag, since then I can not get to the wp-admin and most pages just show white please help!!

appears to be bug in the social counter plugin; if you don’t enable that, seems to work okay.
Update pending, apparently.

yes I realized it happened last time I updated too.

For those in this situation if you don’t have access to wp-admin:

change name of the plugins in folder vi ftp
log in to wp-admin
change name of plugins folder back to normal
enable all plug ins but social counter

Or just delete the social counter plugin folder via ftp – simpler option to fix it.

This is why my migrate/upgrade guide also recommends turning all plugins off, and then turning only VC on, then check site, then turn plugins on one by one to see if anything breaks 😉
