Site broken after update

Hi,
If i update my site i see gibberish code after
how can i update the theme and plugins while not having anything changed or site broken?

Happens to me every time. In the past, I simply had to go to the Newspaper theme page and redownload and reactivate all of the mandatory theme plugins. I also had to manually reenter my custom CSS. Hope it helps! It is a flaw in their updating process, IMHO.

I am also having this issue and also my logo has disappeared after updating to the new version. I see some gibberish codes on the header and footer section of my site. Reverted back to the previous version but still, the footer and logo at top of the page have disappeared.

So the best option is to download the theme, delete the old one and upload the new one?

I don’t know I have reinstalled the previous version but still show codes and is broken 🙁
