Site Identity Not Updating

Hey guys,

The Site Identity function of our website used to be “Pop-break – A Pop culture Break in Your Day”. With our deployment of the Newspaper theme, I changed the identity to just “The Pop Break” but once I deployed the theme, the site identity was changed back to “Pop-break – A Pop culture Break in Your Day”. I have since changed it in the customization field, but everything is the same. Any thoughts on what may be causing this. I really want to change the Site Identity

Also this is specific to our homepage, which is one of our static pages

Hi,

If you have a cache plugin reset it and see if anything changes.
If you use a SEO plugin, check it’s settings to see if it doesn’t change these parameters.
Also try to reset the browser cache (ex. on Google Chrome – reload the page by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+R)
