Site Identity

Hello,

When I go to Customize > Site Identity and I set the name of my website.

When I visit the page it shows the name of the page and then the title. E.g. Home – “Site Identity”

How do I remove the part where it shows the page title “Home”?

Thank you

Hello,

The page title can be shown if you use a page template that shows the title: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ or inside the breadcrumb where you can remove the ‘home’ like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/JLat8Nm0ZmFF

Thank you!

Hello, I’ve tried all the different page templates and it still shows up for each one. It currently looks like this: http://pasteboard.co/HvQUdTVss.png

How can I get it so it only says “LAHoops”

Thank you.

Hello lahoops,

Provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response/code.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

I see now what you mean. I thought you meant a page title. Our theme does not influence the site title. It is the site title you added to WordPress. You can use SEO by Yoast to change the site title to your proffered one though: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/yoast-wordpress-seo-titles-metas-template-variables/

Thank you!
